I have been using the PR30s for over a year, and this mic is a real workhorse. It is my go to microphone for guitars in both studio and live situations. I also use them as overheads and as a studio vocal mic. I can't recommend them for screaming vocals, those require a lot of EQ, but clean singers really shine with this mic. As a live engineer I had gotten used to bringing up my guitar fader and not hearing what was coming out of the cab. The PR30 is a very true guitar microphone, you bring that fader up and you will hear what is coming out of the cab clear and pristine, with very little EQ (if any) required.

I highly recommend this mic, they are easily worth 2x what they sell for. (Posted on 3/16/10)
