A few months ago, a friend introduced me to Open DNS.  In our use of Open DNS here, we've noticed two things.  Our site Geartechs.com loads more quickly (and all other sites for that matter), we're able to have network protection from Phishing and Malware (among other things). 

Open DNS can filter content with your own whitelists and blacklists and/or general levels to prevent access to certain types of content on your church or home networks.
